Comit Consulting Tool
The comit Versicherungsmakler GmbH is the largest insurance broker in Vorarlberg. It emerged from a merger of exacta and Hypo Versicherungsmakler.
Back in 2014, we developed an advisory tool for Hypo Versicherungsmakler, enabling easy and fast calculation of insurance quotes across various sectors. The tool has become an essential resource for the company’s advisors.

Finding the Right Calculation
For each category, specific criteria can be defined to assist in selecting the appropriate calculation. For example, it can be specified that a calculation is only permissible for certain model years, specific occupational classes, or particular risk categories.
The tool supports calculations that can be self-defined using a specially developed expression language. Additionally, it can integrate web services from insurance providers for premium calculation and offer creation.

Use default values or adjust them.
For all input fields and calculation components, standard values can be defined. This allows generating a suitable offer with just one click. However, all values can also be customized according to individual customer needs.
In the tool-defined calculations, changes to the premium are immediately displayed in real-time. For calculations based on web services, a single click updates the premium from the insurance provider.

Create Offer. Done.
With a single click, a customized PDF offer is generated, complete with sector-specific attachments. An application form for each product can also be stored and automatically filled with captured data and additional customer information.
The tool is used by advisors in Hypo banks and also at comit. Depending on the context, customer data is sourced either from the banking sector or from the broker management program used by comit (VERA).
