Liebherr-Werk Nenzing GmbH has established itself as a global leader in construction machinery innovation. In collaboration with Aircontech GmbH, we produce HVAC systems used to regulate the temperature in various Liebherr vehicle and crane cabins.
Our expertise lies in developing the firmware that controls these HVAC systems, seamlessly integrating them with the corresponding vehicles. The LWN HVAC firmware is among the most comprehensive and sophisticated solutions, as it is used in four different types of installations.
Perfect Integration
Liebherr-Werk Nenzing GmbH equips its cabins with proprietary touchscreens and controls that integrate all components of the construction machinery. We were the first external partner to successfully implement LWN’s developed communication protocol in the delivered HVAC systems.
One Firmware for four Installations
The LWN HVAC firmware is deployed in four different HVAC systems. Two of these are used in electrically powered construction machinery, while the other two are used in diesel variants. Our firmware keeps track and controls various inverters, water valves, and other components based on the specific application area.
Efficient Energy Management
Efficient energy management is crucial, especially in electric construction machinery. Through provided interfaces, Liebherr can monitor current consumption and set energy limits for the system.
Maximum Comfort
Our temperature controllers ensure rapid and precise attainment of the desired cabin temperature. The sophisticated fan automation adjusts air supply smoothly, minimizing noise disruptions.
